DecaDent is a leading supplier of dental surgery equipment and services, providing premier brands to dental practices throughout the world.  DecaDent called Steve Hodson following an initial recommendation around 8 years ago, and since then Premieredge has continued to provide IT support for DecaDent.  Over the years Premieredge have successfully managed DecaDent’s IT estate including upgrading the server hardware and installing and configuring Virtual Machines for improved performance and enhanced fault tolerance.

Decadent have been extremely happy with the IT service they are receiving and decided to bring all other services related to IT (such as telephony and security) under one roof. They contacted Premieredge to find out more about the services that could be provided and to determine whether this was a financially viable option for the business. Now Premieredge look after the bulk of the hardware/software support and key business services for DecaDent.

One point of contact whatever the question

Premieredge’s team met with DecaDent to review the business and consult on their planned growth.  Following these discussions, it was agreed to install a new VoIP (3CX) system, move the management of DecaDent’s Office 365 and plan an improved security set-up including multi-factor authentication and external advanced threat management. Premieredge are also migrating daily onsite server back-ups to our own Secure On-Line Backup system to provide a far more reliable and secure means of backing up DecaDent’s company data.

By putting all IT related services under one roof, Premieredge has been able to help DecaDent join all the dots and ensure that all aspects of their IT and phone systems are operating effectively and efficiently – as Matt said “it’s about making all the little things work together”.  It also means that if there are any questions or issues, Decadent now has one point of contact in Premieredge who they can call and trust to sort things out – and it is far easier now we can see the full picture of what is happening through the comprehensive management of all their IT.
